a group of us (disparate, but still a group) packed a picnic lunch and headed down to the shitfarm (werribee) to check out the helen lempriere sculpture exhibition.
these fibreglass sheep were grazing next to the carriageway that leads up to the mansion... cute, non?
still, you could cast your mind back to the days of the landed gentry and the 'halcyon' days of riding the sheep's back that allowed melbourne to become so 'marvellous'. all very "pride and prejudice" albeit in a colonial kind of manner. there's some synergy there with the recent empire games, but you can figure that one out for yourselves.
